A burnt toy car occupies the centre of a room covered in rubble. The object retains its child-sized scale, while the installation places it in a scene of destruction.

The work brings together a burnt sheet-metal pedal car, a painted iron structure, rubble and digital audio. The photographs follow the transformation of the vehicle and the movement of the materials through to their arrangement in the gallery.
